Stylish supernatural visual novel Necrobarista has gone gold, announces Route 59 - lazarusfround

Road 59 poor the news through the official Twitter account for the game. Even though the "i"s possess been dotted and the teas have been brewed, the developer isn't sure when the gage will launch. "Our publication partners decide along a date to release the game. This means the answer is still 'shortly', only it's more of a 'pretty presently' than a 'mistily soon'," explained Route 59. For now, the team will be putting their feet up, because they've been hard busy on the project since 2015.

"Inspired equally by film and anime, Necrobarista is a single take on the visual novel medium. Follow a dynamic and diverse cast of characters as they navigate Melbourne's hipstery coffee culture, the questionable ethics of sorcery, and the operation of letting go," reads the game's description on Steam. Necrobarista also features a soundtrack from Kevin Penkin, the BAFTA-nominated composer for Florence, Made in Abyss, and Norn9. Arabic, Korean, Russian, and eleven other languages are supported for the visual new, and Route 59 guarantees that the game will experience "significant" extras post-launching.
